“Senate Republicans must take immediate action to pass one big, beautiful budget resolution with a full and permanent extension of the Trump tax cuts because failure to do so is unacceptable and will spell disaster in the midterms,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “In 2024, voters responded to the socialist wrecking ball that was Bidenomics by electing Republicans up and down the ballot to enact bold reforms and correct course. Speaker Johnson and House Republicans delivered on these promises, proposing a budget that will prevent a $4.6 trillion tax hike, the largest in our nation’s history. We applaud President Trump, Speaker Johnson, and House Republicans for their work to restore fiscal sanity in the United States.”
